Our first website of the week goes to Pinterest as we love using it to bookmark our favourite images and websites on our computers and phones.
Pinterest is a virtual pinboard, letting you pin any images you find on the internet to your own boards, re pin other people’s pins and share your pins across various social media platforms.
It can be used for all sorts of ideas from storing design ideas, interesting graphics or useful websites. Many people use it for storing recipes and blog posts and some have even used it to plan bits of their wedding.
A pin is usually an image on the page you are bookmarking, pins are grouped into a series of boards, which let you categorise your pins for easy browsing, boards can be viewed in your browser or on your smartphone which is where we think Pinterest really shines, the browsing experience especially on the iphone is fantastic, allowing you to browse the images and see what catches your eye.
If you haven’t already go and sign up now its free and well worth a look as you never know what you might discover.
