After a successful stint as a graphic and digital designer for a local web development company, Graham Ryan has joined LemonTop’s creative team. Our recruitment philosophy here at LemonTop is simple. We never employ anybody who isn’t better than the people we already have. We had been looking to expand our team but knew we had to find the right calibre of creative designer if we were to fill the role and move forward with our plans for the business. Graham’s creative approach to his work showed us that he had the potential to bring a different way of thinking to LemonTop.
After graduating from Teesside University, rather than being caught in the interview merry-go-round, Graham decided to utilise some of the contacts he had made and dive straight into the digital world. He realised this would be the ideal way to build up his commercial portfolio and give him the experience he needed before applying for roles in a creative agency environment.
As Graham began applying for jobs, he noticed the eye-catching and often groundbreaking work being produced here at LemonTop. The agency world had always appealed to Graham and the benefits of a highly creative work environment, high profile clients and the opportunity for career advancement meant LemonTop fitted the bill. Soon after, our Creative Director was pleasantly surprised when Graham sent us a very well written and creative CV, so decided to meet up over Zoom for a chat.
On joining LemonTop Graham said “To join such a creative and forward thinking company is an exciting prospect for me. Being part of the LemonTop studio allows me to bounce ideas around and get a different perspective from some very creative people. The team at LemonTop have big ideas both for their clients and their business, and I look forward to helping bring them to fruition”.
Graham has brought a fresh approach to LemonTop and has widened our scope of digital design with his knowledge of packages such as Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro. He is currently working on a variety of different jobs, designing for both print and digital platforms, and is helping the creative team develop their digital offering as we continue to expand our range of services to an ever changing and rapidly expanding marketplace.
