1: What do you do?
A: Founder and Sales Director at LemonTop Creative
2: Who have you worked for in the past?
A: The Department for work and pensions, Charles Hollywood Advertising agency and a couple of web development companies based in the North East.
3: Best part of your job?
A: Getting to go out and meet people from all around the world, usually over a beer.
4: Is there anything about your job that you really don’t like?
A: Paperwork and chasing debtors but they both need keeping on top of.
5: Favorite thing about working on Aycliffe Business Park?
A: The community, there’s lots of great people working within some fantastic businesses spread around the park so no matter where you go there’s usually a friendly face and someone interesting to talk to.
6: Which company/individual on the park do you do the most work with?
A: The Herbal Gin Company. We’ve created their new brand for them and helped them with bottles and lables. It’s been really interesting seeing the new flavours they are developing and seeing all of the positve comments about the brand and gin.
7: Who’s your tip for future success?
A: I know I’ve already mentioned them but The Herbal Gin Company and Aviation Gin Bar. They are creating some fantastic sounding gin and their bar looks like it’s going to be brilliant when it’s finished and we can all pay a visit.
8: Four famous people you’d love to have round for dinner and why?
A: Sir Rannulph Finnes, He’s seen and done some amazing things, I’ve read most of his books so I’d chat to him more! Raymond blanc – he’s a top chef and seems like he’s got a great sense of humour. Freddie flintoff, Watched him playing cricket so many times and would love to find more about the historic ashes win along with the celebrations that followed. Jessica Ennis-Hill as I think she’s a great inspiration for my daughter.
9: If you could do something else in business, what would it be?
A: Something to do with food and beer, not necessarily a chef or a pub owner but something that involced both would be good.
10: What’s your favourite app?
A: Youtube, spend far too long watching videos on it, everying from how to make the perfect wood fired pizza to the latest tech talks and webinars.
11: Have you ever done anything really daring?
A:. Bungee jumped off the Transporter bridge in Middlesbrough
12: What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve been given?
A: Talk about what you know and you can’t go wrong.
13: If money were no object, what would be your ideal car?
A: Landrover defender heritage or one of the defenders used in James bond Spectre.
14: Money no object, your dream holiday would be?
A: Some sort of foodie tour round europe or a trip to Fiji, always fancied going there.
15: Do you have a favourite band or type of music?
A: 90s indie rock/brit pop but i’ve got a very eclectic music taste.
16: What is your greatest achievement?
A: The Lemontop team winning SIBA supplier of the year award for our sevices within the drinks industry!
17: How would you best describe yourself in four words?
A: At the present moment, “in need of coffee!”
18: Where do you see yourself in five years?
A:. Nurturing the next generation of team LemonTop so I can spend more time looking at different parts of the business.
19: Who’s the most famous person you’ve ever met?
A: Brian Blessed…. Met him at my graduation, he was absolutley brilliant and had time for everyone there.
20: Do you have any guilty pleasures?
A: Elton John… love a bit of his music and the Rocket Man
