Danby Castle is a stunning and unique wedding venue in North Yorkshire (we can vouch for this because Andy got married there in April) Their old website was running on Moonfruit and didn’t provide the ease of navigation or flexibility they needed to be able to add new information and show off the venue as much they wanted, It also wasn’t performing as well as it could do on the search engines.
So when we were asked to build them a new website we knew exactly what to do.
The new website features a fully flexible content management system allowing pretty much everything within the site to be updated and changed when ever it needs to be. All new pages and posts have search engine friendly addresses, the new galleries allow for easy browsing and let the user enlarge the photos to see more, pages not only display Danby’s latest tweets they automatically tweet and posts to Facebook when the site is updated. The website scales to make browsing on different platforms fast and easy, unlike the old site that was a little bit clunky to say the least.
